Poppy Seed Dressing
This flavorful poppy seed dressing is so quick and easy to make, and incredibly delicious! It’s a tasty way to take your salad up a notch!

I know there are a wide variety of salad dressings out there, but there are only two kinds that live in my fridge at all times – blue cheese dressing and poppy seed dressing. Pretty much every kind of salad I ever make can be dressed with one of those two, and they are my absolute favorites. I still haven’t figured out a good homemade blue cheese dressing (I’m sure I’ll post it here if I ever do!) but I’ve been trying find find a good homemade poppy seed dressing recipe, and this is it! This homemade dressing is just as delicious as store bought dressing, and it’s also super easy to make. And since it’s so inexpensive, and made with pantry and fridge staples, I might just never go back to store-bought dressing!
One of my favorite things about this dressing is the balance between sweet and savory flavors. It’s salad dressing perfection, and it goes with everything! I think it’s delicious drizzled over pretty much any fresh fruit, or with nearly any combination of salad ingredients. I also love that you don’t need a food processor or any equipment to make this dressing. You just whisk all the ingredients together (or put it in a jar and shake it) and you are good to go! It doesn’t get any easier than that. This poppy seed dressing is the perfect complement to my apple pecan salad, but it’s pretty fantastic with any salad you like!
