Easy Steak Tacos
These easy steak tacos are so delicious and so easy to make! They’re the perfect way to take your taco night up a notch!

I’ve probably mentioned this before, but I haven’t set foot in a grocery store since the pandemic started. My husband and I made the decision early on that we would order every possible thing online instead of shopping in person, but if we have to go to a store in person, my husband is the point person. It’s crazy to think that it has been almost two years since I walked the aisles at the grocery store! I’m very grateful for the opportunity to order groceries online and have them loaded in my trunk, and I have so much respect and admiration for all of the people who work at my grocery store and carefully pick my order for me every week.
All of that being said, sometimes I get home and unpack the groceries, and just laugh a little at what I unpack. Like the time I ordered 3 (normal size) lemons and ended up with 10 lemons, each the size of a grapefruit. Or the time I ordered nutritional yeast (used as a flavoring) and they substituted active dry yeast (used for bread making) instead. On one of my recent trips I ordered a one pound package of sirloin steak to make stroganoff, and ended up with 4 giant packages of steak. (Don’t worry, they charged me for all of them!) I put most of the steak in my freezer in meal-sized portions, and we’ve been pulling it out whenever we want a little something special for dinner. These easy steak tacos are our new favorite thing to make!

The steak is marinated to give it extra flavor and juiciness, and it comes out super tender and delicious. You can make these tacos as simple or as over-the-top as you like! The meat is so flavorful that I think these tacos are delicious with just the meat and a freshly made tortilla, but feel free to pile on the sour cream, red onion, cheese, cilantro, and hot sauce if you like. We also really like these tacos in combination with our favorite Mexican street corn salad. They are so good!
