Easter Rice Krispy Treats
These Easter rice krispy treats are as fun to make as they are to eat! They’re colorful and festive, and perfect for welcoming spring!

I know pretty much everyone knows how to make rice Krispy treats, but in my opinion, this is the BEST rice Krispy treat recipe out there! They’re so gooey and delicious and always a favorite with my family. And why not make them extra fun for Easter with some colorful sprinkles and Peeps bunnies? These Easter rice Krispy treats are so quick and easy to make, and totally delicious. Desserts really don’t get better than that!

I prefer to make these treats in the microwave (since I nearly always have a toddler hanging on my leg and am prone to burning things on the stove when I inevitably get distracted), but you can definitely make them on the stovetop if you prefer. Mixing in the extra mini marshmallows makes these rice Krispy treats extra gooey and luscious, and the sprinkles add a fun little touch! If you’re having trouble spreading your rice Krispy mixture in the pan to cool, I would recommend spraying either your hands or a spatula with cooking spray and then patting them down.

I added a few extra sprinkles on top of the treats to make them even more festive, then finished them with the cute marshmallow bunnies. I have to confess that I don’t really love Peeps, but they make these treats so adorable and fun that I couldn’t resist! These Easter rice Krispy treats are perfect for making with the kiddos (or, um, by yourself) and so delicious!
