Ok, I have another delicious dirty soda recipe to share with you, and this is one of my favorites! This raspberry cream Dr. Pepper soda is sweet and refreshing, tastes just like dessert, and is super easy to make. You’ll just need four ingredients: raspberry syrup, coconut syrup, sweet cream, and Dr. Pepper. I prefer diet soda (because I don’t like the taste that regular soda leaves in my mouth) but regular soda works great too. And if you’re not a Dr. Pepper fan, this recipe works great with Diet Coke too. (Although I will also add that I find Diet Dr. Pepper superior to all other sodas.) This drink is such a treat!

What Makes it a Dirty Soda?

I’ll add the same info and disclaimers to this dirty soda recipe as I did to my last: I’m pretty sure the term “dirty soda” originated with the OG flavored soda shop, Swig, but it basically just means a soda with flavors/purees/syrups/cream/etc. added to it. I’ve seen some skepticism/vitriol about flavored sodas on the internet lately, and I would just say: 1) no one is forcing you to drink them, 2) I have no other vices, so let me add flavoring to my sodas if I want to, and 3) don’t knock it until you’ve tried it!

As far as the flavored syrups go, I prefer Torani or Monin brands. Their syrups taste less artificial to me and they stay fresh for a long time. Obviously you can keep them in the bottles they come in (this syrup pump makes dispensing them a breeze!), but if you want to be extra fancy, you can order your own glass bottles like I did. (Yes, I’m very extra!) I have a neat little drink station set up in the dining room with all of my syrups and my pebble ice maker, right above a mini fridge for sodas. It’s pretty much a dream!
